Scout High Adventure Camp Out

The pile of dirt in the middle is a buried Bo

Last weekend Layne took the Venture Scouts to Big Eight Mile for a three day camp out. Once they got there they packed in to Dairy Lake which was about a two mile hike. Carrying 60 pound packs made it tough. But diving into the cold lake at the end made it worth it. I guess when Tanner took his pack off everyone teased him because it looked like he still had his pack on because of the sweat outline where his pack had been.

They took our black lab, Bo, with them and he had fun swimming in the lake with all the boys. Then he just laid there while Tanner buried him up to the neck in dirt. Overall I think it was a successful trip and all the boys had a lot of fun.
