This year Karlee has played on the Crapo Trucking softball team with her cousin Isabell. This has been the first year for them to pitch themselves and Karlee has turned out to be a real natural at the wind up pitch. She can actually get it across the plate when most of the girl's pitches turn out more like they are bowling. The team is new and they played against mostly 4th and 5th graders. So they didn't have a lot of wins. But they got better each game. And in the first game of tournament Karlee and Isabell both actually made it home to score! And Karlee was so excited when she was pitching and caught the ball and threw it to first base to get a girl out. Its fun to watch them figure things out and have even small successes.
