Tanner's 8th Grade Graduation

Tanner with is cronies for the "Wear Your Sport" Dance

Tanner with his best friend Keegan Hammond and their Principal Chester Peterson

On June 4th Tanner graduated from South Fremont Junior High. At first he didn't think he wanted to go. And we thought we might go camping instead. But the bad weather and the guilt that he should probably go won out. He has one of the biggest classes they have seen in a while. There were 138, when this years graduation class had only 88. It will be interested to see how many they end up with when they graduate.

They had a very nice program. The theme was "You're Going to Miss This". They had their eight "valedictorians" speak. They all kept it short and sweet and I was impressed with what a good job they did, especially for 14 year olds. At the end they had each student cross the stage to get their certificate and a dog tag with the school name and year on it. Most students gave each of the teachers handing these out a hug. When Tanner crossed the stage he gave each of them and extra long "Tanner Hug". Even though Tanner can be a handful I think most of his teachers really like him and will miss him. I sure hope the high school is ready for him next year.
