Tanner's Graduation Class of 2013

On May 21, 2013 Tanner made the long march we have all been waiting for and received his high school diploma.  And a deep sigh of relief was heard by all...

Grandma Terry & Tanner

Grandpa and Grandma Park are so supportive and love Tanner so much!

'Lil sister isn't so little anymore, but she still looks up to big brother.  Zak and Shay were also in attendance, but they have a moral objection to being photographed.  So I will just note here so they can have credit for being there ;)

Tanner's class had an all night lock in at the Fat Cat's movie theater and bowling alley.  They had a lot of fun.  My niece, Elisabeth Garling, graduated the same night from Hillcrest and they shared the lock in.   Tanner won a small set of sockets as one of the give prizes.

Now on to real life.  He has a job working for Sid Brown who is in our ward.  Sid has black sand on his property.  Tanner and his friend Shad dry the sand, add concrete and mix it, then bag it and stack it on pallets.  They stack about 32,000 pounds of it each day.  So it is a great work out and good pay at $11.00 per hour for a high school graduate.
