This is Karlee's sixth year of clogging. She went to Pocatello for competition again this year and added to her medals and ribbons. She told me I had to take a picture of all of them together for the blog.
We have kind of been lazy about having her do anything besides the group dances. She could do a duet or solo's and get more awards. But we have always just high tailed it out of there. After sitting for hours just to get through two dances we are not usually in the mood to wait for more. But this year Karlee did participate in the solo freestyle. And she took 1st place out of the group she was in. So we do need to have her spend some more time and maybe do a duet next year.
It is always fun to get the new costumes every year. I didn't get to go to the competition because it was the same day as my niece, Alex, got married. So we took pictures before she went.
This year her team took second place on both of their dances. But all of the girls took first place on their solo's and duets. So they qualify to go to National's at Lagoon in May and do their team dances as well as solos. So that will be our first family get away of the year.
