Karlee's Summer

Karlee has stayed very busy this summer. She did summer school through June to help improve her reading. Now we have again dropped the ball and forget to read every day. Uggg!!! Could I please pay someone to come read with my child?

In June she also played baseball and did quite well on the wind up pitching for her first year. In July she played soccer and her team made improvements every game, but still didn't have a great record. But they had lots of fun, and it kept her running. She got to play with her cousin Isabell and good friend Kateira as well as lots of kids from the ward. Her Aunt Nora coached the team and did a great job.

This week she is at Green Canyon for swimming lessons. Most of her Terry cousins spend the week there camping. Her Aunt Vonnell is kind enough to let Karlee stay with her and her son Mackay. She absolutely loves it. They have lessons in the morning, then swim for fun the rest of the day. They also get some hiking in, and have found a few water snakes along the way.

The only down side is that she is missed at home, especially by Tanner. He doesn't have anyone to pick on while she is gone. They are actually really good friends and have lots of fun together despite their age difference. We were lucky to see her yesterday when she came down for a soccer game.
