At the end of April the fire department did a controlled burn of the home that is across the street from us. This home belongs to the Crapo family and has seen many generations raise families in it. It is one of the first homes in Parker. Sadly it has become infested with mold and it was causing everyone that lived in it to get sick. So they decided to burn it down and add the property to the farm land.
It drew quite a crowd of on lookers. It seems like men never out grow their fascination with fire they had as little boys. Both Tanner and Layne watched it burn from beginning to end.
It will take some getting used to not seeing the old home there anymore. But the one constant in life is change...
