On June 27th we celebrated Grandpa Frank's 60th birthday. Jeannette surprised him by having Tera and Theresa decorate their house and have a birthday cake waiting when he came home from church. They told him all his friends and family would be coming to see him. At first he was grumpy about it. But by the time we got there he was having fun with seeing everyone.
Theresa put together slide show of pictures from throughout his life. It was fun to see what a cute kid he was and amazing to see how young he and Jeannette were when they got married. It was also amazing to see pictures of him with my kids through the years and see how much they have grown up. I teased him that now we have the "Frank Movie" video slide show for his funeral all ready.
Frank is a good man who really loves his family. He can be kind of rough around the edges but deep down he is a real softy. I've learned that whatever he dishes out you just have to give it right back to him.
